Part of Cleveland Just Died.

I was never a Michael Stanley Band fan. But now that he has left us, I realize just how much a part of my life he and his music were. My youth was filled with his music. You couldn't get away from it in the early 80s here in Cleveland. It wasn't my thing, being into the whole post-punk scene. But now, listening to it brings me back to youthful innocence and joy of living. I now enjoy listening to those songs. I can respect and admire his art for the joy it brought to folks all over the midwest, and especially here in Northeast Ohio. Rock on Michael Stanley. Rock on.
